I´ve just read an article on the BBC Radio report’s archive about the use of psychology in sport. It started with the question whether psychology can help Nasser Hussain and the England cricket team to improve the performance in this sport. In the following week the England team was going to face a very important match against the australian cricket team.
It seems that the australian team have increased his performance recently. For example they reached the final of Wimbledon. A possible explanation of that succees could be that the australian team has a full-time psychologist available to the team at any time. The England team used to have one, but they released him many years ago.
Bob Woolmer, a cricket coach, thinks that "expanding the players mind", the level of the game should improve a lot.

Well done, Juan. Your summary is clear and easy to read. Just a few suggestions:
Compare: (a)I've already / I've just. (b) success / succeed / sucessful. Which one did you mean to use?
You can also say "the question whether...", which is more formal.
JL
Thanks for the comments.
I've just fixed my article.
Juan
Psychology in sport is the study of the psychological and mental factors that influence and are influenced by participation and performance in sport, exercise, and physical activity, and the application of the knowledge gained through this study to everyday settings.
