
This is my final assigment:
The use of Internet for educational purposes has increased a lot in the recent years.
The ICT's (information and communication technologies) are included in the main programs of the education policy. Nevertheless it doesn't mean that these "tools" are being correctly seized, in particular for the courses.
That's why we have to reflect about the advantages and disadvantages of using blogs in the english classroom. In this article, I'm going to write about how I understand a correct way to use blogs for english lessons, taking mi experience to reflect about it.
First of all, I have to say that this year the english program of our faculty has incorporated the using of blogs for their courses. In my experience, this experience has been very useful. It invites the student to research about topics that he likes and to develop an effort related to it, which is an effective way to learn. In the other hand, this has been a demanding experience. For example, this semester we had to write an article per week for the blog. For example, this semester we had to write an article per week for the blog. Despite it doesn't sounds to much for a classwork, this is a lot of effort for students like us, taking account the demand of the other subjects in the semester and the amount of time in each class for doing it.
In conclusion I need to recall that the using of blogs for english courses offer very much oportunities to develop the learning of the english lenguaje, but this kind of tools should be correctly used, giving the students the necesary amount of time to do the work inside the classroom and not at home.
